1. Introduction

1.1. These terms and conditions (“Terms”) govern your purchases from, and use of, henri.dk (the “Site”). By placing an order or using the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1.2. You should read these Terms carefully before ordering. If you do not accept the Terms, you may not order from the Site.

1.3. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

2. Orders & contract formation

2.1. Your order is an offer to buy the products listed in your basket. We will acknowledge receipt by email.

2.2. A binding contract is formed only when we email you a dispatch confirmation for the relevant items. Items not included in the dispatch confirmation are not part of the contract.

2.3. We may decline or cancel an order for reasons including suspected fraud, inability to obtain payment authorisation, unexpected stock issues, or where a product listing contained an obvious error.

3. Prices, taxes & currency

3.1. Prices are shown and charged in Danish kroner (DKK) or euro (EUR) depending on your selection and/or the domain settings. Prices include VAT where applicable.

3.2. When prices are displayed in DKK, we ship only within Denmark. When prices are displayed in EUR, we ship to the rest of our supported European market (excluding the United Kingdom). The list of available destinations appears at checkout.

3.3. Orders delivered outside the EU/EEA may be subject to import duties, taxes and fees levied by the destination authority; these are your responsibility. If applicable, customs clearance procedures may cause delays beyond our control.

4. Payment

4.1. Payments are processed securely by NETS. We accept: Dankort, MobilePay, Mastercard, Maestro and Visa.

4.2. You confirm that the payment method belongs to you or that you are authorised to use it. We do not store full card details on our systems.

4.3. If payment is not received, your order may be cancelled automatically.

5. Delivery & risk

5.1. We ship to the destinations shown at checkout. Carrier options and services vary by destination.

5.2. Delivery windows are estimates and not guaranteed; they may be affected by carrier delays, customs, or factors beyond our reasonable control.

5.3. Title to goods passes on full payment; risk passes on delivery to the address you provided or collection by you/your agent.

6. Right of withdrawal (14 days) & returns

6.1. Consumers in the EU/EEA have a legal right to withdraw from distance contracts within 14 calendar days without giving any reason (“cooling‑off period”). The period runs from the day you receive the goods.

6.2. To exercise the right, notify us within 14 days at support@henri.dk with your order number and a clear statement of withdrawal (you may use the model form in Section 18). You must return the goods within 14 days after notifying us.

6.3. Return postage: You are responsible for the cost of returning goods. Henri does not provide prepaid labels.

6.5. Condition of returns: Items must be unused, unopened and in resaleable condition. You are liable for any diminished value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

6.6. Hygiene‑sealed cosmetics: For reasons of health and hygiene protection, returns are not accepted if the hygiene seal on the product has been broken after delivery. Where a product is supplied without a hygiene seal, we may make a deduction for diminished value if it has been opened and used beyond what is necessary to inspect it.

6.7. Refunds: We will refund the product price and the standard outbound delivery cost (if any) using the original payment method, without undue delay and no later than 14 days from receipt of your return or proof of return, whichever is earlier.

6.8. Exchanges: We do not offer exchanges. Please place a new order.

7. Faulty goods & legal warranty (2 years)

7.1. If a product is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to repair, replacement, price reduction or a refund under the Danish Sale of Goods Act. The legal complaints period is 2 years from delivery.

7.2. Please contact us promptly with order details and a description of the issue; we may request photos or inspection. We will provide return instructions for faulty items and cover reasonable return costs for accepted warranty claims.

8. Product information

8.1. We endeavour to describe products accurately; packaging, INCI lists and shades may change and may appear differently due to device settings. We reserve the right to correct errors and update information without notice.

8.2. Usage advice on the Site concerns cosmetic products only and is not medical advice.

9. Promotions & vouchers

9.1. Promotional codes, bundles and offers (if any) are subject to their stated terms, valid only for the period indicated, non‑transferable, and may be withdrawn at our discretion.

9.2. We currently do not operate satisfaction guarantees, referral schemes or subscription programmes on henri.dk.

10. Retention of title

10.1. Goods remain our property until paid for in full.

11. Liability

11.1. We are liable for foreseeable loss caused by our breach up to the amount paid for the product(s) in question, but we are not liable for loss of profit, business, data, or any indirect or consequential loss, unless liability cannot be limited by law.

11.2. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any matter for which liability cannot lawfully be limited.

12. Use of the Site

12.1. The Site is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee it will be error‑free or uninterrupted.

12.2. You must not misuse the Site (e.g., attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, overload or scrape). We may suspend or terminate access for breach.

13. Intellectual property

13.1. All content on the Site (text, graphics, logos, images, video, layout and look‑and‑feel) is owned by or licensed to Henri and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may use content only for personal, non‑commercial purposes and may not reproduce or exploit it without our prior written consent.

14. User‑generated content (UGC) & reviews

14.1. By submitting reviews, photos, videos or other content (“UGC”) to the Site or our social media, you grant Henri a non‑exclusive, royalty‑free, worldwide, perpetual licence to use, reproduce, adapt, publish and display such UGC in any media, together with the name or username you provide, subject to our Privacy Policy.

14.2. You warrant that you own the UGC or have permission to submit it, and that it is lawful, accurate and non‑infringing. We may moderate, edit or remove UGC at our discretion.

14.3. If you would prefer a time‑limited licence for UGC, please contact support@henri.dk before submitting content.

15. Privacy & cookies

15.1. Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy available on the Site.

16. Force majeure

16.1. We are not responsible for non‑performance caused by events reasonably beyond our control, including but not limited to new or amended legislation, government action, war, fire, flood, labour disputes, transport disruption, supplier failure, epidemics/pandemics, or criminal acts affecting operations.

17. Suspension/termination

17.1. We may suspend or terminate access to the Site or cancel orders in cases of suspected breach or unlawful activity.

18. Changes to these Terms

18.1. We may update these Terms from time to time. The Terms in force at the time you place an order will apply to that order. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.

19. Governing law & jurisdiction

19.1. These Terms and your use of the Site are governed by Danish law. Disputes may be brought before the Danish courts, without prejudice to any mandatory rights you may have to bring claims in your country of residence.
