News from the chair: HENRI x Vipp
In 1939, metalsmith Holger Nielsen invented the first Vipp pedal bin for his wife's hair salon. The purpose was not to create a design object, but a functional tool built for daily use with a focus on durability and precision.
Now, more than eight decades later, the pedal bin finds itself back in its original setting.
From salon to salon
The Vipp x HENRI collection consists of three limited edition products – two pedal bins and a toilet brush, all interpreted in HENRI's iconic brand colour: a muted green tone that introduces a softer expression and adds subtle warmth, while preserving the products' familiar form and function.
Jette Egelund, daughter of Vipp founder Holger Nielsen, says of the collaboration:
"Bringing the pedal bin back into the salon feels like closing a circle. For over half a century, Vipp was primarily a professional product – used by hairdressers, doctors and dentists – before it found its way into private homes. With HENRI, it is back where it all began."

About the products
The collection includes Vipp 16 pedal bins, Vipp 13 pedal bins and Vipp 11 toilet brushes. The products are available for a limited period at Vipp.com and in selected Vipp stores.
